Latvian Admitted to Prestigious Military Academy
On June 4, Charge d’Affaires Bruce Rogers presented a certificate for admission to West Point Academy to Mikus Igaunis.
This fall, the graduate of Cesis State Gymnasium Mikus Igaunis will go
to the United States to study at one of the most prestigious military
academies – West Point Academy. The Military academy at West Point has
been recognized as one of the most prestigious academies of its kind.
Mikus Igaunis will be one of only 18 international students that will
begin their studies at West Point this year. During his four year
program, he will have the opportunity to acquire internationally
recognized military degree, as well as higher degree in any civil
sector on his choice.
