Visa interviews are conducted by appointments only (please see section How to Apply for a U.S. Visa for guidance) Monday through Friday between 8:45 am – 11:30 am.
Because our waiting room is small, we only allow applicants themselves to enter the area. In exceptional circumstances, a family member, an accompanying person for a disabled applicant, or an attorney may be allowed in the Consular Section if a prior permission from the Consular Section is received. Persons accompanying visa applicants to the embassy should bring their passports or other proof of identity.
Both parents of minor children should always accompany them at the interview.
NOTICE FOR VISITORS TO THE CONSULAR SECTION
For security reasons, no laptops, mobile phones, video or photo cameras are allowed in the Embassy's Consular Section. Visitors are reminded to leave their cellular phones with the security guards during the time of their admission to the Consular Section.
