U.S. Embassy Launches Monthly “Twinterview” Series with Consul Timothy P. Buckley

Riga, February 15, 2012. – On Thursday, February 16, from 8:00 – 9:00 p.m., the U.S. Embassy Riga will host its first “twinterview” (Twitter interview), when the Embassy’s Consular Section Chief Timothy P. Buckley will host the session on Twitter at this account: @usembassyriga.

U.S. Embassy Riga invites its Twitter followers and other interested persons to join the twinterview and ask questions about consular services, including, for example, immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, visa-waiver travel, the diversity visa or "green card" lottery process, and American citizen services.

Be sure to include the #consularriga hash tag when you tweet @usembassyriga to make sure we see your tweet. Twinterview participants may ask questions in advance on Twitter or on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/usembassyriga) with the hash tag provided above. The consul will keep a running list of questions and answers and include them as part of the twinterview.
