U.S. non-immigrant visa recipients can now use courier services to receive their passports from the embassy
Riga, July 27, 2006. – The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Riga is pleased to announce that starting from August 1, 2006 recipients of non-immigrant visas will be able to use a courier service to have their passports and visas returned to them. “Lattras-post Ltd.” will deliver visa recipients' passports, with printed visas, from the Embassy to their residence or work address in Latvia. The cost of this service will be 4.13 Ls, payable upon delivery.
“Lattrans-post Ltd.,” will deliver the passports to visa applicants on the next working day after the visa issuance.
This courier service is not mandatory. Visa recipients will continue be able to pick up their visaed passports in person from the Embassy’s Consular Section.
