Deputy Assistant Secretary David Kramer Pays a One Day Visit to Riga
Riga, May 10, 2007. – On Thursday, May 10, Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, David J. Kramer, is paying a one day visit to Riga at the invitation of the Latvian Government. Mr. Kramer, who is responsible for policy issues related to Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus, as well as regional nonproliferation, is participating in Latvian Government meetings with the Prime Minister of Moldova, Vasile Tarlev, who is having an official visit to Latvia, as well as several bilateral meetings.
David J. Kramer has been in his current position since July 2005.
