Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy participates in the opening event of the new piano
On December 12th, 2008 Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy, Bruce Rogers, participated in the opening event of the new baby grand piano at Riga Music Boarding School neighboring the construction site of the new embassy building. The outstanding Latvian pianist Vestards Simkus performed Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” as part of the opening ceremony.
