Immigrant visas for Latvian residents are processed by the Immigrant Visa Unit of the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw, Poland. If you are a Latvian resident and intend to apply for an immigrant visa please contact Embassy Warsaw directly. Click here for information on visa types for immigrants to the U.S.
The U.S. Embassy in Riga accepts immigrant petitions only for two immigrant visa categories listed below. Please consult the links as relevant for more information:
• Spouses and unmarried children of U.S. citizens residing in Latvia for more than 6 months
• Children adopted from Latvia to the U.S.
