U.S. Embassy High School and University Program “Meet America”
The U.S. Embassy in Latvia invites your high school group to meet with American diplomats and listen to presentations on various aspects of American life and culture, U.S. history and U.S./Latvian relations.
Your class will have the opportunity to meet American officers face-to-face, listen to short presentations, ask questions, and engage the speakers in a discussion.
Our officers will be happy to speak on the following topics:
- Strength Through Diversity – Multicultural America
- Youth in America
- President Obama and Global Citizenship
The U.S. diplomatic mission in Riga - our activities here, our impressions about living and working in Riga and our career as diplomats
