Charge Bruce Rogers Visits Adazi Military Base
 

On June 26 Charge d'Affaires Bruce Rogers visited Adazi Military Base where he participated in a ceremony together with Latvian President Valdis Zatlers to see off a group of Latvian and American cooperation advisors. 

Since December 2008 The Latvian group of cooperation advisors has supported Afghanistan's national army in military training, organization of training, planning and implementation of operations. The Latvian troops in the mission are also supported by ten American troops. At the present time there are more than 50 groups of advisors operating in Afghanistan.
