The Website by and for Participants in U.S. Government Exchange Programs
State Alumni offers an exciting opportunity to continue your exchange program after you have returned home! The State Alumni website is dedicated to alumni of U.S. government-sponsored exchange and training programs, and to the people who hosted them in the U.S.
State Alumni currently is open to:
- Alumni worldwide;
- Americans who participated in U.S.-funded exchange programs;
- Americans who hosted U.S.-funded exchange participants.
State Alumni asks that you register in order to log onto the Website so we can keep you and your fellow alumni in better contact. There are now over 14,700 registered users. State Alumni operates over a secure connection, to prevent the theft of personal information.
The Website has three principal goals:
- Help alumni stay in touch with each other and create new contacts;
- Incorporate alumni of specific programs into the wider community of all alumni;
- Provide information and interactive features:
- Calendar of upcoming alumni events
- Job listings and career development information
- Searchable database of alumni and U.S. host families who have registered at the site
- Grant opportunity listings
