Ambassador Larson Meets Latvian Press and Media

Ambassador Larson had his first extensive discussions with the Latvian press and media on February 22 with three events.

They day began with an interview on Latvia's most widely watched morning news program 900 Seconds on LNT, Latvia's largest independent television station.

Then in the afternoon the Ambassador hosted a press roundtable where he answered questions for around 40 minutes.

Journalists, cameramen and photographers from over two dozen press and media outlets (both Latvian and Russian language) attended.

These included all the leading television stations, LTV 1, LTV 7, TV 3, TV 24, TV 5, then Latvijas Radio and all the leading daily newspapers.

After the press conference, the Ambassador had a lengthy one-on-one interview with Latvia's leading newspaper Diena.
