Black History Month: Latvian Basketball Star Curtis Millage meets and plays with local students

As part of the U.S. Embassy’s Black History Month program, ASK Riga basketball player Curtis Millage visited two Latvian high schools--Riga Secondary School No. 3 and Riga Secondary School No. 94 on February 20-21 to discuss stereotypes and tolerance with students.

Millage, a star guard with one of Latvia's leading pro basketball teams was a huge success establishing an instant rapport with his young wildly enthusiastic audience.

He answered students’ questions, gave away signed photos and basketballs, and demonstrated his basketball skills.
